Aluminium is a perfect material for use on conservatory roofs. The strength of the material means that large spans are possible, plus double glazed glass sealed units are the norm for our roofs. A strong roof also means that it can take the load of maintenance boards if carrying out work above the conservatory. The polyester powder coating finish has proven to be very hard wearing, easy to clean, yet requires the minimum of maintenance.
Our system is suitable for both residential and commercial uses. The style of roof, the rafters used (light duty, heavy duty or reinforced) and the ring-beam type used (structural or standard) all have a bearing on the maximum size limits. Steelwork can also be used for very large roofs. Please send us your design so we can calculate loadings.
Glass roofs dramatically reduce the noise of rain on a conservatory roof when compared to a polycarbonate roof. A glass roof also lets you take advantage of innovations such as self-cleaning glass which use the sun and rain the break down the dirt that would otherwise accumulate.
Yes, almost. The RAL range includes hundreds of colours to choose from and you can have a different colour on the outside to the inside of your roof. For example, you may wish to have a grey or brown outside and a decor neutral white colour on the inside.
