Our flat aluminium roof lights are low-lying, slim and discreet. Designed specifically to be installed directly onto flat roofs they are perfect for use in heritage and conservation areas.
The sight-line from the edge of the frame to the glass is just 47mm and the lantern sits just 85mm proud of the wooden kerbs / upstands, which are typically 4' x 2' (100mm x 50mm). They are as a result very discreet and will not compromise the character or integrity of your period property.
They are clean and simple, providing maximum glass and minimum frame, while still maintaining the strength and structural integrity you would expect from a high end aluminium roof.
This flat roof is our own design and its frame acts like an integral ring-beam, making it surprisingly strong and resilient. It has a unique drainage system and built in odd leg for installation onto wooden kerbs / upstands. Although they are flat they still need to be installed on a minimal pitch to prevent ponding and allow for water run off.
